I am going to be one of the featured artist at ArtScape Studios , 3 West Poplar Street, Walla Walla, WA for the August 3rd First Friday Art Walk, sponsored by ART Walla. I will have 12 + paintings on display and for sale. I will also be selling prints and cards at the event. One third of the proceeds will benefit Art Walla events and educational programs. Pet Sketches at Blue Mountain Humane Society
Last Saturday I volunteered at the Blue Mountain Humane Society Open House. I sketched dogs and cats for people from a cell phone picture or the actual animal wiggling around. It was a fun challenge to try to create a likeness in just a few minutes. A few of my attempts are pictured.

This site was created to share my art with you. My deep connection to landscape and the natural world is reflected in my creations. Art is a way of seeing and a willingness to express and share your vision. I have been incubating for a long time, seeing and creating in my mind and now I have moved into the realm of the artist by recording and sharing my imagery through writing and visual arts.
I create with a variety of media; photography, pencil and charcoal drawing, watercolor, acrylic and collage. Each media opens new windows with color, flow and texture. I am growing in my expression of how I see the world.
